O'Hara: Media misinterpreted me

Shaun O’Hara was pretty surprised last night when he heard and read that he had been critical of Plaxico Burress, because it turns out that wasn’t what he meant at all. O’Hara today said that when he said “You’re either with us or you’re against us” and “I think there’s a right way to do things,” he was speaking in general terms, not about Burress’ “business decision” to not practice until he gets a new contract. Nor was he speaking about Jeremy Shockey’s decision not to join his teammates on the field. The media, according to O’Hara, totally misinterpreted what he said. “I thought it was quite humorous that all these intellectuals with pens and recorders could totally miss the point that was made yesterday,” he said. “I was frustrated with the media. I never once criticized anybody or any teammates.
