Oakland Raiders Need to Add First Round Talent to Their Defensive Front

 
As the first wave of free agency has passed and the NFL Draft approaches Al Davis and Tom Cable should be thinking about addressing the defensive side of the ball.  The only thing is that there are only a few players that are "worth" drafting at No. 7.  LB Aaron Curry, DT BJ Raji, and DE Brian Orakpo all would be upgrades to their respective positions if we drafted them with the seventh pick in the draft. Curry would give us that SSLB that he havn't had since...yeah it's been that long.  Enough of the Sam Williams experiment.  He most likely will be off the board at No. 7 but keep your fingers crossed. Raji is a flat out beast and he'd do a far better job of clogging up space than Sands could do against a JV football team. William Joseph and Terdell Sands are not the answer at DT.  Both are depth players at best.  Sands should re-sign for the vet minimum.
