Jonny Gomes and Andy Cannizaro hit home runs and Akinori Iwamura tripled and scored against the Tigers on Monday, making for a competitive game despite a shaky Rays debut from starter Matt Garza. The 4-0 Rays broke a tie in the ninth to win, 10-9.
