Andrew Cogliano's goal midway through the third period gave the Edmonton Oilers a 3-2 victory over the New York Islanders on Monday night. Kyle Brodziak and Jason Strudwick also scored for the Oilers, who have won four of their last five at home and moved into a tie with Minnesota for eighth place in the Western Conference.
