OK, Fine: Two More Cents on Bloomin' Brett Favre

Since I wrote a humor article about Bret Favre one time awhile back, he has been a usual in my potential tags. For once, I will give in and use it. One of two things, in my opinion, will happen. I'm betting he'll be benched by around Week Five. I think Favre returns to his 2005 or 2006 form and tries to force passes into coverage because he does not trust his teammates. I won't be surprised, however with a good run. Frankly, the AFC West and NFC West are not great. The Jets could have a good record and get a wild-card slot.  Heck, I would not be surprised if they luck out in the wild-card round against a team that collapses. What I don't see is middle ground. Either 12-4, 11-5 or 5-11, 4-12. An 8-8 record would be surprising. Oh, in 2009, he retires as a Jet. Then in 2010 he retires as a Jet. By the way, this is not a Packers article, though he could also retire as a Packer (again) one day. (link)
