Although Oklahoma City’s basketball franchise wasn’t expected to release its new team title until Sept. 3, the mysterious name was accidentally leaked via the Orlando Magic's season ticket package. According to ESPN, the franchise that had once been the Seattle Supersonics will now be known as the Oklahoma City Thunder. As alluded to earlier, this was discovered in the Orlando Magic’s season ticket schedule, which listed games against Oklahoma City’s franchise as games against the Oklahoma City Thunder. While the early leak is almost comical, it is quite exciting to finally know the name that will be attached to this franchise for years to come. Although the colors of the Thunder have not yet been released, this information should officially be unveiled on Sept. 3. So, what do you guys think of the new name?
