No matter how many times the 49ers deny they have spoken to Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, they simply cannot shake their incompetence, or the fact that they are simply the NFL's laughingstock.
Move over, Detroit and Cincinnati.
Pat Murphy, publisher of the San Francisco Sentinel , is only one of many, many writers, fans, and TV and radio talking heads, who have grown weary of the circus atmosphere that characterizes the 49ers.
The latest sideshow was inexplicably provided by Coach Mike Singletary, who has allowed himself to become the butt of jokes
He may be our last hope.

Remember John York’s bumbling, fumbling firing of playoff coach Steve Mariucci?
