Osi Umenyiora, a second round draft pick from a small school, busted onto the NFL scene, but has said too much while out on his season-ending knee injury.
It’s been fun watching Osi Umenyiora follow in the footsteps of former Giants' great, Michael Strahan, and he has already begun his post-NFL career as a sports commentator.
Umenyiora surprised many when he appeared on ESPN's pre-game show preceding the Giants-Browns game. He appeared very comfortable, making a great first impression for future jobs suitors, as he discussed various topics with the current ESPN analysts.
As a Giants fan, however, I wasn’t pleased with Umenyiora’s comments.
He often referred to the Giants as "they," as if he was no longer a part of them.
It was on Inside the NFL where Umenyiora’s really irked me.
This past June there were rumors that Umenyiora desperately wanted to re-work the contract he signed a couple years ...
