Ovechkin's 4 points help Caps top Ducks (AP)

 
Alex Ovechkin extended his goal streak to five games and added three assists, sending the Washington Capitals to a 6-4 victory over the Anaheim Ducks on Wednesday night. The reigning NHL MVP had a power-play goal, and Tomas Fleischmann and Mike Green scored less than two minutes apart early in the first period with the man advantage. (link)
