Jason Reid has gotten these comments from Washington Redskins defensive lineman Phillip Daniels on Matt Stover's effort to overthrow Gene Upshaw as executive director of the NFL Players Association: "You know, I really don't understand this. I really don't understand what Matt is doing. I saw the letter pop up [on the Internet]. I read it and I still don't understand what Matt is doing. Obviously Matt has some strong feelings.
