The Indianapolis Colts activated quarterback Peyton Manning from the physically unable to perform list. He is scheduled to practice with the team this afternoon. Manning had been on the PUP list since undergoing surgery before training camp to have an infected bursa sac removed from his left knee. Manning underwent surgery on July 14 to have an infected bursa sac removed and has missed the entire preseason. Coach Tony Dungy said, "We have a chance to get Peyton activated and out to practice. So we’ll see how that goes. I think we’ll ease him in and see how he practices and what he’s able to do. We’ll see from there."
