According to media reports in Wisconsin, the Green Bay Packers made a financial offer Wednesday to quarterback Brett Favre to try to induce Favre to remain retired and not report to the team's training camp. WTMJ-TV in Milwaukee reported that the Packers offered Favre approximately $20 million over 10 years to remain retired.
