I didn't watch yesterday's Notre Dame-Ohio State game, but I saw that ND's Luke Harangody played and led the team in scoring. So why Notre Dame failed to cover—or even win the game outright—is still a mystery to me. Tomorrow I'll have more time to look into that game and determine if I was just unlucky or if I improperly gauged the teams.
Either way, Rhode Island was a winner, only losing to Providence by one. So I was 1-1 for the day, and am looking to do better than that today, as there are a couple of spreads I really like.
Oklahoma (-6.5) vs. Tulsa is one of them. OU beat the Golden Hurricane by nearly 30 last season, and even though this game is in Tulsa, I don't see the No. 6 Sooners having a problem here. Tulsa has already lost three games, and hasn't played a team of the same caliber as Oklahoma. I expect Blake Griffin and the Sooners to win by at least 12.
I like another road favorite, as well, the Maryland Terrapins (-4) at George Washington. ...
