Righty Vicente Padilla allowed one unearned run on six hits in 5 2/3 innings, as the Rangers topped the Mariners, 7-3, on Tuesday night. Marlon Byrd started the scoring in the first inning with a two-run double, and Taylor Teagarden knocked in three.
