Panthers' Running Tandem Now "Double Trouble"

 
After the Carolina Panthers' regular season finale against the New Orleans Saints, running backs DeAngelo Williams and Jonathan Stewart announced an official name for themselves—"Double Trouble".  Before "Double Trouble" was unveiled, there was debate about whether Williams and Stewart or the Titans' LenDale White and Chris Johnson should get the privilege of labeling themselves with the moniker "Smash and Dash." Many NFL fans outside of Tennessee thought that, because of their superior statistics accumulated throughout the regular season, Williams and Stewart should get the nickname.  Williams and Stewart rushed for 2,437 yards, scored 30 touchdowns, averaged 4.8 yards per carry, and had 24 runs for 20 yards or more.  White and Johnson ran for 2,199 yards, scored 24 touchdowns, averaged 4.3 yards per carry, and had 15 runs for 20 yards or longer.
