It came to my attention on Thursday morning that Roy Keane had left Sunderland after completely flipping his lid. His run of losses had become too much for him to handle so he resigned. It was a shock to Sunderland fans.
The former Manchester United star took Sunderland from the depths of the Championship straight up to the Premier League two seasons ago.
A big achievement in so little time. I decided to whip up a quick little parody to give him a good 'send-off' (tee-hee). The tune is 'American Boy' by Estelle feat. Kanye West.
Took us up the leagues. We'll win a cup someday. Took us to the best teams in the whole UK. He made us great two Long seasons agoooo.
He'll always be our Irish Roy, Our Irish Roy.
