Patrick Ewing: Paying Homage to the Knicks Greatest Player

 
The Knicks have become the laughingstock of the NBA and probably all of professional sports. It has been hard being a Knicks fan for the past five years. Everything that could have gone wrong, did. It's times like these that make me want to watch ESPN classic and Youtube to remind myself that the Knicks were once great and no one was better at that than Patrick Ewing. Today Patrick Ewing was inducted into the Hall of Fame. This Hall of Fame class was stacked. Names like Pat Riley, Hakeem Olajuwon, and Dick Vitale all were a part of this class. Though Olajuwon and Riley have won championships, Ewing is definitely the headliner of this class. He brought basketball back home to New York where it belongs, and is the greatest player the Knicks ever had. Patrick was one of the greatest players coming out of college ever. They invented the draft lottery because of Patrick Ewing. Luckily my Knicks won and got the player that changed their franchise. The Knicks had only made the playoffs four times in ... (link)
