Troy Brown, the New England Patriots' career leader in receptions and a key member of their last three championships, was inactive for the Super Bowl against the New York Giants on Sunday. Brown, the team's longest-tenured player, missed most of his 15th season with a knee injury. He was placed on the physically unable to perform list late in training camp and wasn't activated until Nov. [link]
