Patriots hire Capers to assist secondary (AP)

 
The New England Patriots hired former Miami Dolphins defensive coordinator Dom Capers as special assistant for the secondary Thursday. Capers, a former head coach at Carolina and Houston, spent two seasons at Miami. He was special assistant to the head coach in 2006 and defensive coordinator last season. (link)
