NFL sources say the New England Patriots are close to re-signing wide receiver Randy Moss. Moss set a single-season league record with 23 touchdown catches this past season after being traded from the Oakland Raiders to the Patriots. He agreed to a restructured contract with a reduced salary as part of the trade but left himself eligible for unrestricted free agency this offseason.
