Lakers Center Pau Gasol rolled his left ankle at the 9:45 mark of the 1st quarter of the Lakers-Hornets game. He was immediately taken to the locker room and I will be updating this post as I receive new information from KCAL9 sideline reporter John Ireland. UPDATE from John Ireland at 5:25 PST: Gasol has a sprained left ankle and he will not return tonight. X-rays are pending. UPDATE (2) from Odenized at 5:30 PST: Video of Pau Gasol's ankle injury can be found here . If Gasol does go down and misses some games it would be a huge loss for the Lakers. Ronny Turiaf (RT 21 as I so fondly call him) would be the best pickup on the Lakers fantasy-wise to capitalize on the injury. I wrote a post on him back in the day--it can be found here . As a Lakers fan, here's to hoping for a strong recovery! Sign up for our RSS feed for other fantasy alerts and advice. To hoops, Farid >
