Pedro leaves with shoulder tightness

The Mets announced that Pedro Martinez left the game with right shoulder tightness. That certainly doesn’t bode well for a veteran player who just came back from rotator cuff surgery in September.
Martinez left today’s game after four innings, having tossed 66 pitches while limiting the Rockies to one hit and three walks while striking out three. The Mets lead 2-0 in the fifth.

Yesterday afternoon, Pedro Martinez, Carlos Muniz, Aaron Heilman, Scott Schoeneweis and Billy Wagner combined to throw a one hitter against the Colorado Rockies.
