Pedro to throw sim game on Friday

Heavy thunderstorms blanketed the east coast of Florida on Thursday, forcing the cancellation of a scheduled game between the Mets and Nationals at Space Coast Stadium. Pedro Martinez will instead pitch a simulated game on Friday at 9 a.m. ET at the team's Spring Training complex in Port St. Lucie, Fla.

Anyhow, on my visit, I saw a familiar & colorful figure of my youth sitting in a golf caddy.
