Penn St.'s Timmons heads to probation program

Penn State cornerback Knowledge Timmons must serve a year in a probation program for first-time offenders after being charged with two misdemeanors.
Timmons was charged with disorderly conduct and defiant trespass after an Oct. 7 fight that involved three other Penn State players. One man was injured in the campus fight.
