Pens: We won't lose focus in face of The Grate One

 
Sean Avery has yet to get in the face of any Penguin, but is he already in their heads? Whether it is reporters steering the conversation in that direction or the Pens unable to control themselves, much of the pre-series chatter in the Pittsburgh locker room has been about The Grate One. And it seems unlikely that the Penguins will be able to ignore and nullify Avery the way the savvy Buffalo Sabres did in last spring’s second round. After today’s morning skate, Sidney Crosby and Pens coach Michel Therrien both were asked about Avery. Suffice to say, neither reacted by calmly sticking the questions aside. “He’s not going to change what I do,” Crosby said. “He’s going to be a tough guy to play against if that’s the case. That’s what he prides himself on. But I think I’ve played against a lot of guys who are tough to play against. So my game isn’t going to change.
