New England redefined the possibility of perfection with an unbeaten regular season a year ago, only to see its grasp at history fall painfully short with a loss to the New York Giants in the Super Bowl. Ultimately, it was the Giants who redefined possibilities by taking a road less traveled to their ultimate triumph. New York won 10 straight road games, including playoff victories in severe weather -- the heat in Tampa, the cold in Green Bay -- before brutalizing the Patriots with a ferocious pass rush.
