Day Two of Eagles' training camp has come and gone without much fanfare. The real question will be whether Brian Westbrook and Lito Sheppard report Thursday night. For now, here are a few notes from today's practice.
It's good to see not only a healthy McNabb, but a happy one. Cracking a few jokes throughout the morning's practice, he kept things light and played in his usual top form. This guy really is the natural leader of this team.
Trevor Laws and Bryan Smith trained in the practice fields with medicine balls today, getting conditioned to join the other guys sometime next week.
The Eagles moved Jackson around a lot behind the line of scrimmage, the purpose being that the press coverage would be slightly lighter on the other side of the line, therefore allowing Jackson to run his route more effectively.
Brent Celek is now the only tight end in camp, so the attention was focused on him as he caught a good many passes in tight spaces.
