For Philadelphia Phillies fans, it was the best of times, unless you are Ted Passon, who's "best of times" turned into a "worst of times" at the flip of a switch, or in this case...car. *see above*
"Hey Philly, remember when we just won the world series for the first time in 28 years? That was great! Then my car got flipped over and that wasn't great."
Unfortunately for Ted, his insurance doesn't cover vandalism and the car's less likely to run again than the likelihood that Manny Ramirez and the Red Sox make amends and sign a five year deal this offseason.
So Ted's taken to the Internets ( http://phillyfixmycar.blogspot.com ) asking the city of brotherly love to give a brother some love and donate $10 each to get him a new car. I smell an Internet Meme coming.
According to reports on CNET, the site has already raised $800 and Ted is well on his way to replacing his 1998 Mitubishi Gallant.
"Either way Philly you broke my car... please help me fix it!"
