Phillies, Myers searching for answers

Since an answer didn't drop from the sky with a solution to Brett Myers' struggles, the Phillies will continue to ponder. A day after the right-hander's worst outing of the season, and outing in which he surrendered eight runs -- six earned -- on nine hits in 4 1/3 innings, including three home runs, pitching coach Rich Dubee though Myers' pitches were fine, except for poor location.

Cole Hamels showed Brett Myers how it's done. Hamels pitched his first career shutout to lead the Phillies to a 5-0 win over the Braves. King Cole went 9 innings, gave up only 4 hits and struck out 6 batters in a 120-pitch complete game shutout. He was simply dominant from the beginning, turning aside 15 straight batters at one point.
