Pierce appears to stay out of trouble on Stern show

 
Antonio Pierce proved one thing Wednesday morning: He’s smarter than Jeremy Shockey. While spending the day interning for the Howard Stern Show on Sirius satellite radio, the Giants’ linebacker apparently was able to do something Shockey couldn’t. He successfully navigated the minefield that is Stern’s show and escaped without putting his foot too deeply in his mouth. At least, that’s the way it appears. I didn’t hear it live and I haven’t found a link to the audio, but it does appear from most accounts that he emerged unscathed. The best evidence I’ve seen is right here on a Web site that provides a remarkably detailed account of Wednesday’s show.
