The Detroit Pistons re-signed forward Walter Herrmann on Monday. "He is a player with tremendous work ethic and showed last year that he is a player that can contribute," Pistons president of basketball operations Joe Dumars said in a statement. The 6-foot-9, 229-pound Herrmann was acquired by the Pistons in 2007 along with Primoz Brezec in a trade that sent Nazr Mohammed to the Charlotte Bobcats.
