Chien-Ming Wang has emerged as the unquestioned ace of
a Yankees staff that has otherwise struggled. In his last outing, May 13 at Tampa Bay, Wang earned a no-decision in the Rays' 2-1 victory, allowing one run in seven innings. Wang's one career start against the Mets came June 17 of last year when he earned the win in an 8-2 victory, striking out a career-best 10.

Yeah, I know. There’s a Subway Series being played this weekend. Yankees vs. Mets. American League vs. National League. New York City bragging rights. Johan Santana sticking it to Hank Steinbrenner and the Yanks, which he did Saturday. I’m supposed to be all fired up. The baseball world is supposed to stop.
