Plax hurts his hamstring, and other old news

Plaxico Burress missed practice yesterday with a hamstring injury. I realize that’s old news this morning, but I was off yesterday and I just wanted to keep you up-to-date. In other day-old injury news, Brandon Jacobs (knee) was limited in practice and we’re all breathlessly awaiting word of how he feels this morning. From what I can tell, everyone seems very optimistic that he’ll play (Of course, so far the only person I’ve talked to this morning outside of my family is the woman who sold me coffee at Dunkin’ Donuts). Please add S Sammy Knight (hip) and DE Jerome McDougle (knee) to your injury reports, too, since they didn’t practice yesterday either. CB Kevin Dockery (back) did practice and there’s some optimism (genuine optimism, not just at my Dunkin’ Donuts) that he might go Sunday. CB Aaron Ross (hamstring) was limited, but he thinks he’ll be OK. LB Chase Blackurn (neck) was back at work, along with LB Jonathan Goff (concussion).  ... (link)
