Plax reports back to work

 
Plaxico Burress reported for work as scheduled this morning, worked out with some of his teammates, met with Tom Coughlin and according to the coach is “ready to go.” It also appears that he will reclaim his place in the starting lineup, though Coughlin wasn’t completely committal on that. At first he answered that question by saying “We’ll see,” but he later added “I would say ‘Yes.’” PHOTO GALLERY: GIANTS STEAMROLL SEAHAWKS, STAY PERFECT It didn’t sound like he had given it a lot of thought, which might have been the reason for the hesitation. I suspect given that Burress is still the Giants’ best receiver, he will start in Cleveland next Monday night. Meanwhile, Coughlin seemed pretty anxious to put this whole affair behind him.
