Polanco's pair leads Tigers to win

Six years after Marcus Thames homered off Randy Johnson at Yankee Stadium in his first big-league at-bat, his two-run shot off Andy Pettitte put the Tigers ahead for good before a pair of Placido Polanco homers sealed a 6-2 Detroit win Wednesday night in the Bronx.
