It never ceases to amaze me at the lousy choices the New York Knicks made since Toronto took them out in the first round of the playoffs in 2001. I lived in NYC for two years. When I first got there, they picked up Stephon Marbury. They put his face all over town, claiming a savior had arrived. Heh. Then Isiah Thomas fired Lenny Wilkens and became their head coach. Heh. Heh. Then they got Zach Randolph. Triple Heh. The list of things gone wrong continues. I used to attend a lot of Knicks’ games. I once sat six rows from the court! I saw a Knicks-Pacers’ game, where the crowd all chanted, "Reggie (Miller) sucks!" And I even attended the late 2004 season game between the Knicks and Blazers, where we (the Knicks) lost by one point on Stoudamire's last second shot at the buzzer (I trash talked the whole arena that night...). Those losses, and the following loss to Denver, are the reasons Portland has not made the playoffs since 2003. While I was ...
