David Beckham's much-anticipated debut with the Los Angeles Galaxy was a disappointment in large part because of the soccer star's ankle injury.
A healthy Beckham looks to help the Galaxy get off to a quick start Saturday when they open the season on the road against the Colorado Rapids.
Beckham, who signed with the Galaxy on Jan. 11, 2007, played in five MLS games, making two starts and finishing with two assists.
