Quad Pull Keeps Mike Williams Out

The Redskins kept tackle Mike Williams out of practice today after he was diagnosed with a pulled quadriceps muscle earlier in the week. "There was no reason to put him out there," Coach Jim Zorn said. "When we get to camp, he will be better and he will be in better shape." The conditioning of Williams, who has not played in three years, is significant since he showed up for OTAs at 370 pounds and he and the have been working on getting him to lose weight. (link)
