Rain delay in St. Louis

 
The Cardinals have announced that Thursday’s game, delayed by rain at the outset, is scheduled to begin at 8:40 p.m. Looks like a late arrival Thursday night, or should we say Friday morning, for the Mets in Philly. Johan Santana declined to travel ahead of the team, by the way, which pitchers who are competing in series openers often do. (link)
