Rain gives teenager Logano first Cup win

Joey Logano has won the rain-shortened NASCAR Sprint Cup race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. The precocious 19-year-old rookie came back from a crash that put him a lap down and won for the first time in 20 Cup race starts. Logano was among a group of drivers who moved to the front of the field after getting out of sequence on fuel stops. The youngster moved into the lead on lap 264 when Ryan Newman ran out of gas. The race was scheduled to go 301 laps. (link)
