Ramirez to miss three as family calls

Third baseman Aramis Ramirez will miss the first three games of the Cubs' series at San Francisco to deal with a family matter in his native Dominican Republic. The club has not placed Ramirez on the bereavement list and he is expected back for Thursday's finale against the Giants.
