The New York Red Bulls traded defender Hunter Freeman to Toronto FC on Friday for two draft picks in 2009. The Red Bulls will receive a third- and fourth-round pick in Major League Soccer's supplemental draft. Freeman has an assist in 14 games, including 10 starts, for the Red Bulls this season. He was acquired from Colorado in 2007 and tallied a goal and assist in 16 appearances last season.
