Red Sox avenge loss to Shields, Rays

On Saturday night, with the climate anything but controlled at chilly Fenway Park, Boston hammered Tampa Bay right-hander James Shields for seven runs on 10 hits in 3 2/3 innings en route to a 12-4 victory over the Rays.

When these two teams met a week ago in Tampa Bay, the Rays starter James Shields pitched a really good game throwing a three hit shutout. He was masterful.
