It appears the Tampa Bay Rays may finally be on their way to draining the swamp the organization has been mired in since its inception in 1998. For the record the Rays have won 70 games once in their 10 seasons, even with Lou Piniella at the helm for three of those seasons.

Before the start of the season there was a great deal of talk about a 6 man rotation, but that ended once Curt Schilling's injury was announced. Yesterday Bartolo Colon announced he would move his opt out clause to June 1st leaving the Red Sox with a tough decision. If Colon pitches well with Pawtucket the Red Sox are going to have to bring him up and give him a few starts to see what they have. I

Roy Halladay slowly saunters off the mound, facing his third loss in a row. Halladay has pitched complete games in each of these outings. He just don't get no support. He is a stranger in his own town, a drifter born to walk alone. None of his teammates can offer any consolation, nobody knows the trouble he's seen. Halladay slumps down in front of his locker while the entire team gathers around.
