Varitek NOT Included in Mitchell Report
sportsofboston.com 12/13/2007 — WEEI and WNBC erroneously reported that Red Sox captain Jason Varitek was included in the report. He was NOT named as was originally reported, and so far Julian Tavarez’s name is not reported either. Miguel Tejada has been reported to have been included in the list after being thrown on and taken off the draft versions.
