Red Sox-Rays: Boston Demolishes Tampa, Claims Share of Top Spot in East

 
The Boston Red Sox beat the Tampa Bay Rays, 13-5, to move into a tie atop the AL East Monday night. The Red Sox Started out strong, scoring four runs in the first inning off Tampa Bay ace Scott Kazmir, then went onto score seven runs in the fourth. Daisuke Matsuzaka picked up his 17th win of the season despite only going five innings. The Red Sox now share first place with the Rays, who have been on top in the East since the day after the All-Star break. The Red Sox will be looking for more wins against Tampa Bay as they play more games on Tuesday and Wednesday. On Tuesday, it will be ace Josh Beckett coming off a great start in a rematch against Andy Sonnanstine, and on Thursday Tim Wakefield, who is coming off his best start of the season against the Blue Jays, will match up against righty Matt Garza. Whisnant Team Rankings

I know the AL is superior to the NL, but I do not see how the Cubs, can be ranked behind two Junior Circut clubs, the Blue Jays and Yanks who are not going to even make the playoffs. The Cubs have a extremely well rounded club and I think that they deserve more respects in the rankings.
