Red Sox tighten the reins on Schilling

When Curt Schilling reported to Spring Training, the Sox estimated that he would be rehabbing and strengthening his injured shoulder for six to eight weeks. Though Thursday will mark eight weeks from when that estimate was made, Schilling hasn't graduated to the crucial step un his recovery -- baseball activities. Schilling is understandably antsy to start throwing.

The Tigers parlayed a four-run rally in the top of the fourth against lefty Jon Lester into a 7-2 victory over the Red Sox. Brandon Inge iced the game with a two-run single through a drawn-in infield against Bryan Corey in the top of the eighth.
