Chris Osgood pared down his league-best goals-against average to 1.87 by shutting out the Los Angeles Kings, leading Detroit to a 3-0 win Tuesday night.

Henrik Zetterberg is officially out for the Red Wings' next two games and the NHL All-Star Game. Zetterberg's aching back was no better Tuesday morning, so rather than risk anything more serious, the Wings decided to sit Zetterberg the rest of the week.
