Red Wings ready to eliminate Stars in 5 (AP)

The Detroit Red Wings sound as if the Western Conference finals have lasted long enough. They're ready to eliminate the Dallas Stars on Saturday in Game 5 and earn a spot in the Stanley Cup finals for the first time since winning a title in 2002. "We want to finish them off as soon as we can," Detroit forward Tomas Holmstrom said Friday.

Versus has just released a promo for the upcoming Stanley Cup Finals. It mysteriously starts out with a lengthy variety of shots of an old ugly chair. Apparently a talking old ugly chair as well. They show more of that damn chair than they do any hockey. It also may point out who will be playing in the Cup finals before anything is decided...Too Soon
