Based on what I'm hearing, here's how the top of the draft will shake out:
1. Miami - OT Jake Long
2. St. Louis - DT Glenn Dorsey
3. Atlanta - QB Matt Ryan
4. Oakland - DE Chris Long (also considering RB Darren McFadden)
5. Kansas City - OT Ryan Clady (could take T/G Branden Albert or try to trade down)
6. Jets - McFadden (he gets the nod over LB/DE Vernon Gholston)
Comment: The Jets could catch a break and wind up with McFadden or Chris Long, both of whom are rated among the top 3 or 4 on many boards. If the Raiders take McFadden, the Jets will pounce on Chris Long, Howie's kid. He's Eric Mangini's kind of player. At 6-3, 272, Long is a little small to play end in a 3-4 scheme (most coaches prefer ends in the 290-300 range), but he has the versatility to stand up and play OLB. If the Raiders pick Long, the Jets will happily take McFadden. It's a no-lose, right? Well ...

Back on Dec 26th of 2007, we learned who the New England Patriots 2008 opponents would be. Today, the NFL announced the schedules for all the teams including the AFC champion Patriots.
