Refreshing our draft projection

 
Based on what I'm hearing, here's how the top of the draft will shake out: 1. Miami - OT Jake Long 2. St. Louis - DT Glenn Dorsey 3. Atlanta - QB Matt Ryan 4. Oakland - DE Chris Long (also considering RB Darren McFadden) 5. Kansas City - OT Ryan Clady (could take T/G Branden Albert or try to trade down) 6. Jets - McFadden (he gets the nod over LB/DE Vernon Gholston) Comment: The Jets could catch a break and wind up with McFadden or Chris Long, both of whom are rated among the top 3 or 4 on many boards. If the Raiders take McFadden, the Jets will pounce on Chris Long, Howie's kid. He's Eric Mangini's kind of player. At 6-3, 272, Long is a little small to play end in a 3-4 scheme (most coaches prefer ends in the 290-300 range), but he has the versatility to stand up and play OLB. If the Raiders pick Long, the Jets will happily take McFadden. It's a no-lose, right? Well ... [link]
